TERMS AND CONDITIONS

They apply to any services purchased from KONOBA GUESTHOUSE PARADISO. Please carefully read these Terms & Conditions. If you do not understand any aspect of these Terms and Conditions, please contact us.

1. Guesthouse Reservation

A Guesthouse Reservation is confirmed, when the applicable deposit from the Client is received, and/or the Client has received written confirmation from KONOBA GUESTHOUSE PARADISO of such booking by email. Please check your confirmation carefully and report any incorrect or incomplete information to us.

2. Changes made by KONOBA GUESTHOUSE PARADISO

We may modify your reservation where reasonably required at its sole discretion. If such a change is made less than 14 days before departure, the affected Client may elect to:

  • accept the change and proceed with the amended reservation;

  • cancel the reservation and receive a full refund of all monies paid in respect of the land-only portion of the applicable reservation

3. Changes made by the Client

The client is responsible for ensuring that information provided to us in making their reservation is accurate, up-to-date, and correct. Reservation is not transferable to another person.

4. Cancellations

A Client may cancel their reservation by notifying us or their booking Agent where is applicable in writing. The applicable cancellation fees shall be determined concerning the date on which cancelation notice is received and expressed as a percentage of the total price paid for the canceled reservation.

  • 14 or more days before arrival: 0%

  • 4-13 days before arrival: 50%

  • 3 day before arrival or no show: 100%

Failing to make an appearance and travel without prior cancellation shall entitle us to withhold 100% of the payment made regardless of the reason for cancellation.

5. Travel documents

It is the Client’s entirely responsibility to obtain information and to have in his possession all the time during the stay. The KONOBA GUESTHOUSE PARADISO provides services in the Republic of Croatia.

6. Travel insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance from your country (including trip delay, trip cancellation, trip interruption, baggage, and personal effects, loss, or theft of money insurance) once a trip has been booked. Health, accident, and emergency evacuation insurance are also strongly recommended. Without appropriate travel insurance, the Customer understands and agrees that if Customer cancels or interrupts Customer’s travel for any reason, portions of the trip/tour may not be refunded.

7. Exclusion of Liability

The agency is not responsible for any damages, expenses, losses, or claims which are attributable to the fault of any Client, the unforeseeable or unavoidable act, or omission of a third party unconnected with the provision of any services that form, or a force majeure event.

8. Force majeure

KONOBA GUESTHOUSE PARADISO shall not be liable in any way to the Client for death, bodily injury, illness, damage, delay, or other loss or detriment to person or property, or financial costs both direct and indirect incurred, delay, bodily injury (including emotional distress or injury), illness, damage, or other loss or detriment to person or property is caused by war or warlike operations, mechanical breakdowns, terrorist activities or threat thereof, civil commotions, labor difficulties, interference by authorities, political disturbance, howsoever and where so ever any of the same may arise or be caused, riot, insurrection and government restraint, fire, extreme weather or any other cause whatsoever beyond the reasonable control and could not foresee.

9. Court jurisdiction

The Contract and these Terms and Conditions are subject to the laws of the Republic of Croatia.
